BMPCC 4k/6k user Manual

Technical data

  • Input Voltage: 12V
  • Mounting pattern: 124*90mm m3 screw
  • weight 4k (w/o logger): 500g
  • weight 6k (w/o logger): 510g
  • LED status indicator: 1x Rec, 1x Power

Operation workflow

  1. Power on the camera
  2. Flip open the topplate to access the display
  3. Adapt settings for current lighting
  4. Close the lid and secure with 2 thumb screws
  5. Start video and log by pressing the rec button
  6. after landing, stop the video and power off the camera.

Gyroflow setup

Internal Gyro

  • Gyroflow IMU orientation: zyx
  • Rotation (camera angle): positive pitch axis, measure with phone app.
  • Only possible with newest firmware (>Version 7.9)

external Gyrologger

  • best placement: Behind the lens
  • Gyroflow IMU orientation: yXZ

Gyroflow workflow

  1. Import the Video and Lens profile into Gyroflow
  2. Select the correct gyro orientation and Z-Rotation (you can also use right click and 'guess IMU orientation).
  3. Press auto sync and the video and log file should be synced
  4. Export the Video to your preferred format. For exporting BRAW the Gyroflow OpenFX plugin for Davinci is needed.
