In this manual, we will guide you through the complete build process of the Cityflitzer drone.
Safety Notice This is not a toy. Fly responsibly and always follow proper safety procedures. When working on the bench:
Never install propellers
Always use a smoke stopper
• Mount the TPU battery pads using M2 washers and M2x8mm screws
• Ensure the threaded inserts on the top plate are facing downwards
• Flip the top plate over
• Install the arms in the orientation shown above
• Install the middle plate
• Mount the TPU RX antenna mount using M2x8mm screws
• Mount the TPU VTX antenna mount using M2x8mm screws
• Push M2x20mm standoffs into the designated horizontal mounting holes
• Install the motors using thread locker
• Secure the motor wires firmly to the arms using tape
• Cut the capacitor legs down to approximately 2mm
• Solder wires to the capacitor legs
• Apply liquid rubber to all exposed solder joints

• Pre-assemble the side plates and TPU bottom cover
• Use M2x20mm standoffs and M2x4mm screws
• Use this assembly to measure correct wire lengths, do not fully mount yet
• Apply conformal coating to the bottom side of the FC
• Allow the coating to fully dry
• Mount the FC to the frame using M2x12mm screws
• Solder the motor wires to the FC
• Solder the main power wires to the FC
• Solder the capacitor to the FC
Important:
• Leave enough slack in the motor wires
• Ensure capacitor wires are the correct length
• The capacitor must fit into the TPU bottom cover with slight wire slack
Tip: Conformal coating is clearly visible under UV light.

• Solder RX wires with approximately 4cm wire length
• Bend the antenna slightly so the bind button remains accessible
• Heat-shrink the entire receiver assembly

• Mount the DJI O4/O3 Air Unit to the TPU VTX mount using M2x4mm screws
• Install the VTX on top of the FC

• Open the VTX housing carefully
• Disconnect the UFL connectors
• Route the antennas through the TPU VTX antenna mount
• Reconnect the antennas
• Close the VTX housing
• Connect the VTX to the FC
• Connect the receiver to the FC
• Install the RX antenna into the TPU RX antenna mount

• Install the pod onto the frame using M2x4mm screws
• Install the capacitor into its TPU mount
• Install the receiver into its TPU mount
• Install the VTX camera using M2x4mm screws • Close the Bottom TPU cover with a M2x8mm screw through the latch in the front.
• Install the matching TPU battery mount onto the top plate
• Use M2 washers and M2x10mm screws
• Solder the XT30 PCB board to the male XT30 connector
• Insert the XT30 connector into the TPU battery mount
• Cut the power wires to length
• Ensure wires are not under tension
• Strip and pre-tin the wire ends

• Solder the wires to the XT30 connector
• Secure the mount using M2x8mm screws
• Apply liquid rubber to all exposed solder joints
Congratulations! Your Cityflitzer build is almost complete.
All that’s left:
• Betaflight configuration
• Minor ESC settings
• Install propellers
And you are ready to rip!
